a novel by Rolf A. F. Witzsche
Volume 8 of the series of novels The Lodging for the Rose
The melody of nature - what a song!
Whispers of a splendor grander than the heavens
Like seeds are we - we whisper too
Seeds bearing gifts for the world
Gifts wrapped up in sunshine
Gems are we - unfolding a majestic song!
The novel is fiction, but its essence is remains very much a part of the present world.
When forced to flee from ‘paradise’ the protagonists starts a new life in China, reaching out with its aid to heal the West. But China isn’t the Golden Shore of Peace where the protagonists find tranquility and rest. The Principle of Universal Love widens the challenge for them, the challenge to uplift the world. They do not flinch, nor do they say 'we cannot'.
China unfolds its heart in the novel as one of the few countries in the world that still embraces the principle of progress. It sees boundless horizons and is reaching for them.
The light of universal love that once shone brightly in Europe and later in America, which has has dimmed in those places, still glows brightly in China as the protagonists find out. May it reawaken in us all and become the hope of the world. Name it China’s gift to humanity. In the novel it is that, even while the protagonists become engaged to uplift China. -
The novel is the final part of the epic series of novels, The Lodging for the Rose.
